The last evening of the Kulturtreppe belongs to ‘LN Acustica’ alias La Nefera. The Basel-based rapper, singer, producer and networker with Dominican roots has established herself in the Swiss music scene in recent years with her fiery hip-hop, socially critical and empowering rap in Spanish and Latin American influences as an independent and strong voice and an artist who is as ambitious as she is committed.
Her pseudonym, inspired by Queen Nefertiti, symbolises strength and power - attributes that she brings with passion to her musical creations between hip-hop and pop, with Latin American influences, Afro and tropical rhythms. It is not only her rap and dance skills, her irrepressible energy, the quality of her live band and the special aesthetics of her productions that inspire the audience. Rather, it is the fact that her so-called ‘empowerment rap’ is rooted in deep conviction and years of social commitment and that she delivers her lyrics so passionately and authentically that you can understand them even if you don't speak Spanish.
After her solo album ‘A Lo Hecho Pecho’ (2016) and the albums ‘C'est ça’ (2023) and ‘Aprendi a vivir’ (2024) and major stages at home and abroad, she is currently touring in an acoustic setup, with percussion, guitar, bass and polyphonic vocals, which gives her songs and lyrics even more depth and freedom in an intimate, rhythmically versatile setting beyond electronic productions!
Women's power will continue after the concert from 9 pm with the broadcast of the Swiss national team's match against Iceland in the Women's Euro 2025.
The Markthalle Basel and Pötit Cräperie will be providing refreshments with drinks and savoury and sweet snacks.
