Sound Garden with Les Cornets Noirs

In the Fondation Beyeler’s Sound Garden, "Les Cornets Noirs" will bring the soundscape of the Early and High Baroque to life for an evening. Since its founding in 1997, Frithjof Smith and Gebhard David’s ensemble has interpreted rarely performed works with technical precision, stylistic depth and a palpable passion for early music. This concert focuses on the finely nuanced interplay of historical cornetts and trombones, creating a musical landscape rich in colour, contrast and expression.

The concert series will take place every Wednesday* between 6 and 8 p.m. from 25 June to 10 September 2025.
